When using the Wizard and filling the fiels, the Info for port settings is faulty:
Local Port: => leaving/making field empty lends to:
"The field 'Local port' must contain a valid port, ranging from 0 to 65535."

The info though says:
"The default port is 1194. Leave this blank unless you need to use a different port."

Using 16.7.12, up2date patched.

17.1 Legacy Series / Re: 17.1 development milestones

Thx, perfectly cleared up the reason and 'current state'.
I wish every support answer (in general) would be like that.

"OpenVPN client exporter windows binaries have been removed" <- I'm sorry to read that, since I'd have some windows clients running, exporting ready-to-use packages for Windows would be nice.
Using that feature on an Astaro (now Sophops) ASG already.

Is there a special reason to remove it?

It would be nice, if you allow using the full keyboard to select language etc. at installer time.
Now you need to use cursor keys, debian etc. allow to e.g. use "g" to quickly come down to "german" (pressing g several times, it walks down the "g"-list and starts from first "g"-entry, after reaching the end.

Not sure if it's a keymapping-problem from XenCenter, but I also couldn't use page up and page down, which 'exploded' a bit by exiting the current menu.

17.1 Legacy Series / Xen(Server) offloading fixed?
January 06, 2017, 06:01:04 PM
Since a lot of us ran into that problem (which is FreeBSD 10 based) with the paravirtualized network drivers - which also affects KVM, if I'm not wrong:

Does anyone know if that problem is fixed with the new FreeBSD 11 base?
It hase never been fixed with 10 and probably never will, so hope relies on 11 base.
