General Discussion / Captive Portal Not Working
July 18, 2026, 07:59:16 AM
We activated the Captive Portal, But when we enable it its not prompting users for login credentials, Therefore blocking total access to the internet for everyone accept the machines on exempt.

So we are forced to disable it again.

Kindly help us achieve this objective.
using login credentials for users to accessing the school wifi through to the internet.

The addional rule we require, is a student's account that does not allow social media access. But allow pructive sites only for children research.

You need to tell the local clients to renew their lease manually.

For Windows:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

But you need to do some research and use AI. Its great for these kinds of things.
