I'm sure this has been covered before however trying to find the why searching for 'updat' or similar has returns a lot of results.

Curious as to why after I "Check for Updates" from the Firmware > Status, if I navigate to a different section - outside Firmware - in the FW, I must re "Check for Updates" again to reenter the update mode.

Can I trigger this manually?

If I subsequently click the Firmware > Updates tab, it shows there's an update, but does not enter the update mode.

I've tried clicking the release notes from Firmware > Changelog, but that too does not trigger the update mode.

It's not a major, just a funny mechanism - am I missing something?

EDIT: clarified issue

kia ora - not entirely comfortable that the whole /conf/config.xml is shared, which contains OPNsense secrets/passwords and private cert keys.

How is this file transmitted?
How do I know it's secure and being stored securely for support?

Kia ora,

It may be my misunderstanding however I think I have blocked all 'Firstly Seen Sites' (Policies > Security > "High Control")...

ref attached - zen_blockedSite

...however Zenamour still allows these...?

ref attached - firstSeen

Why are these sites allowed?
They are random URLs created by Proton VPN - I would like to block them.

Kia ora,

Apologies - I should have been more explicit and clear with terminology.

Issue: the UI does not time out > session time end, if I leave a tab open on any Zenamour page.

This contrasts to any other native OPNsense page that times our after 10min (as set in my System > Settings > Admin: Session Timeout)

EDIT:
I'm dumb.

It appears if the default session timeout is never set/changed from default install, then this is when the session timeout fails in Zenamour screens.

Solution, change session time to something else.

Kia ora,

I noticed that if I stay on any Zenamour page, I am never logged out of the OPNSense GUI.

Is there a setting I am missing, or this a bug?
