Just updated to the latest release and I'm having a bit of a nightmare with my WAN stability. I expected a smooth reboot, but now my PPoE connection keeps dropping every twenty minutes or so for no clear reason. The BT Openreach modem seems fine, but OPNsense just refuses to hold the lease, which never happened on the previous version. I've had a go at toggling the MSS clamping and checking the logs, but nothing obvious is jumping out at me. I'm no networking wizard, so I'm wondering if a default setting has shifted in the background. Is anyone else on UK fibre seeing these drops, or have I just got a dodgy config somewhere?

I'm setting up a network for interactive signage terminals (wayfinding) in a hospital and I want to secure it. I'm using version 24.1. The idea is to isolate the touch screens on a dedicated VLAN so that they don't interfere with the medical network. I'm particularly looking at solutions like hospital wayfinding kiosk and software solution to understand typical traffic patterns and security needs. What do you recommend for the output rules? Pure FW or should I go through a proxy? I'm a little worried that Suricata will mess up the map update flows. If anyone has already managed this kind of network on this version, I'd love to hear your feedback.
