I would like to ask if there is a possibility for a setup we want to do with opnsense before we make the purchases and if possible to help about the setup of it.
We are a small local WISP in town and we have as Core router the Ubiquiti Infinity setup with Wireguard, But as we want to split the Wireguard from the infinity and also put Loadballance in midle we were thinking about purchasing a Firewall PC that will have Lan ports and SFP+ ports in order to give the internet to the Infinity.
The setup goes like this, there are 2 modems (1GBps each) that will be connected to the FirewallPC and both will have its Wireguard Client key that i have been provided from a Datacenter in order to use them network.
Then the OPNSENSE will make the loadballance from both Wireguarded lined and give via SFP+ total of 2GBPS (considering the 10-15% loss from the wireguard) to the infinity to make the routing and the managinf for the network.
Is the computer an overkill? can OPNSENSE be configured as loadballance and Wireguard key the same time for both lines seperately>?
