Hello,

I have a home opnsense router (virtualised) with wireguard configured, as well as a VPS server with selective routing out to the VPS.

Every couple of days the connection will drop and not automatically come back, to fix this I have been disabling ufw on the vps and then it will connect instanteanously.

I have a mobile connected to the VPS - working fine. The mobile connects to my home opnsense router with no issues either.

Logs on the WG opnsense are not very helpful, I can see data transmitting but not receiving, the vps shows  the below

If anyone can give some troubleshooting advice it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks you balrog for this, this tut was reassuring for me to read as I had followed the official guide which did not suffice my needs like yours.

To note for anyone else i had to move the rule to the top as i already had an any out rule on the lan which was taking precedent.

I have been using opnsense for a few months now and the journey has been great so far, this has just topped it off.
