Virtual private networks / Issue while connected to WG server inside the WG server's network.

Hello All,
I've been trying to migrate from using OpenVPN to Wireguard and all seems to be working fine, until I'm inside my own network. I followed the Road Warrior setup guide and now when I'm inside my network (192.168.0.0/24) and my linux laptop connects to the wifi, it can't be pinged/reached with its 192 address. My WG network is 10.8.1.x. I definitely know it's something that I'm missing...perhaps (from what I read) something about nat loopback? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
