Virtual private networks / Advices on my new setup

Hello,
I am new to OPNSense, but I know netwoking, I would like to make a remote gateway for my home network. I want to NAT multiple IPs (aliases) on the head router to some VMs on my home LAN. Furthermore, I am looking for someone to point me in the right direction, a kind of road map, so I do not lose too much time reading and figuring what's best to use or not
Thanks for your help !
P.S.: The OPNSense on the VPS only have a WAN interface and only one IP for now as I did not add the aliases yet.
