General Discussion / Dell 7070 Micro Build

I've been using a Dell SFF PC with OPNsense running on it for quite a while and love the interface. I recently acquired a Dell 7070 Micro and want to install OPNsense on that machine instead and free up the larger PC as it has a discrete GPU for other things.
I have purchased an m.2 to Ethernet adapter and installed it in the flex and installed OPNsense. OPNsense recognizes the realtek adapter with the updated driver packagein the CLI. The stock NIC is the WAN and the Realtek is the LAN
The issue that I am running into is that no PC connected to the LAN gets an IP address from the server and I cannot ping the DHCP server. I do have a WAN address assigned from my current network.
I'm concerned that it may be a driver issue but I have double checked and the driver package is installed. Do i need to configure OPNsense to use it?
