First off I will try and give an idea of how things are setup.

I am running OPNSense in a HyperV VM. On a Windows 11 Host. I have 3 network adapters. Only 2 in use currenly.

Access to OPNSense is via an internal network interface and this is shown as LAN in OPNSense.

Network map:

Virgin Media Hub in modem mode > Network port of PC running the VM. This is the WAN connection and is working fine. I have access to the internet hence this post :p

The other port on my PC is then connected to a switch and then to a TP-Link AX53 WiFi router in AP mode.

It is getting an IP from OPNSense (192.168.1.11) and under DHCP leases I can see the router and all the WiFi devices listed but none of them can access the internet and i cant access them from my PC either.

This was working last night and then today it just stopped working. I have all but re-installed OPNSense to try and fix this but I have no idea what the issue is.

There is clearly something not configured correctly but I have no clue what. My networking knowledge is not that great tbh but what I do know has gotten me this far!

I have the LAN, WAN and WIFILAN interfaces all enabled. WIFILAN being the connection to the AP. I have tried static IP's, DHCP where it will allow it. I have tried enabling DHCP on the wifilan interface and disabling it.

I dont have a bare metal system to run OPNSense on just yet so this is the setup I am going for for now.

Like I said, This was working but today its all gone to hell.

Thanks!
