Hi I am a newbie and this is my first post :-[
I thought it best I register because this seemingly powerful product has a sleep learning curve for an old retired chap like me. But I fell at the first post - registration!
First issue might have been me taking too long to complete the Registration page, on account of scanning the Privacy page that I opened on another tab {Yes I am that sad guy that checks those policies before ticking the box}. The page changed to login page and failed. I switched back to the registration page and tried to tick box and complete the registration but that switched to login page too and when I tried logging in it said "That username does not exist" - I should add, the login details were saved to my password manager.
I decided to restart the registration from the beginning and this time it failed saying " The user Daza4857 with Email ...@consultant.com {a personal email address from mail.com} (IP w.x.y.z) is a Spam", please contact forum administrator..." Could I find out how to contact forum administrator - Nop!
Then I found an email address in the privacy page, emailed that but got a "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender". Buried in the mail it said "Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table".
I tried googling it and found another user having trouble and reporting it on Reddit "OPNSense Forum registration issues" 24 days ago.
I tried registering using a different email and it worked but thought I would report these problems as affecting more than I.
Also, I checked previous posts and was about to reply on one but the forum advised to create a new topic because of that topic's age.
I hope there is a fix but don't know how one is supposed to get in touch if one cannot register in first place.
