Hi All,

Aftar upgrading to 24.7 and every version above that up until today 25.1.5_4 this happens.

I cannot upgrade the following packages using the GUI:
   alsa-lib: 1.2.13 [mimugmail]
   freetype2: 2.13.2 [SunnyValley]
   libfontenc: 1.1.8 [SunnyValley]
   png: 1.6.43 [SunnyValley]

The only way to update theese are using the Shell:
pkg update
pkg upgrade
opnsense-update
opnsense-update -es
pkg update
pkg upgrade

And theese Shell commands I need to run after every single update.

Any idea why this happans and is work done to fix this?

Thanks,
Ase

Hi,

It is an simple Firewall/NAT/Port Forward from WAN TCP to internal IP using TCP that has always worked before.
The Port Forward itself seems to work because I can use it to access Webmail.
It is only the Android Outlook App that is failing now.

Because of this I suspected that the Outlook App or the ZenArmor, could have been the issue.

Can you easily revert back minor versions of OPNsense, in this case 24.7.7 back to 24.7.6, I sadly did not take a snapshot before upgrade?

Can confirm that the issue is not the Outlook App (tried using my older phone that has not been updated and the same issue there).
Also tried to disable ZenArmor, but with no difference.

The setup is not so important here, just wanted to hear if others have the issue!
The problem here is that in these couple of days OPNsense upgraded to 24.7.7 and at the same time ZenArmor was upgraded to 1.18.
Also the Outlook App on Android did get an update during these days.

HI,
Cannot access internal mail server from Android/Outlook after upgrade to 24.7.7.

Others with same issue?
Can you easily revert back to 24.7.6?

Thanks,

Hi,

Please add sort Ascending/Descending on the different columns, it would help a lot.

Thanks,

Still cannot understand the logic about it!
Anyone here wiser that can explain this behavior?

This Worked, THANKS!

Rebooted the 5G router to get a new WAN IP.
Though about it, but because Android and Computers worked from behind the same firewall/IP, so I concluded that it could not be an ISP or Youtube block.

Thanks for your help to solve this!

I took my Work iPad, started it and connected it to my Home Wi-Fi, Installed Youtube and get the same result there as well.
On both my sons iPhone or this iPad if I turn off Wi-Fi it starts working.
Also if I make my own Android phone as Hotspot the iPhone and iPad works.

In Services: "Unbound DNS: Blocklist" the "Force SafeSearch" is disabled.

Is there other places to activate SafeSearch?

I cannot see anything changed in the setup from yesterday to today,

Thanks for your reply RamSense!

Tried a reboot of the OPNsense but with no change in behaviour.
Also tried Youtube App on Android now, that works fine.

In what places or logfiles should I look for info if it is a active "block"?

Hi All,

Today OPNsense started to block Youtube App on iPhone and iPads, you get the message "The following content is not available on this app".
Turned off:
- Proofpoint Intrusion detection
- Zenarmor "Packet Engine"
- Unbound DNS and the Blocklists

This started this morning.

If I use Youtube App without OPNsense then it works great.
Youtube on Computer behind firewall work all the time.

Others with similar issues?

Thanks,
Ase

Thanks Zan,

Downloaded the repo and installed the os-unboundcustom-maxit plugin.
Anyone with ideas how I should format the same code I used in pfSense DNS resolver?
