Fixed it by updating to OPNsense 24.1.5_3.

Hi all,

This must be a new bug because I can't find any related info online or here on the forums. To me, it seems like the issue is with:
Try to set MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE=yes and rebuild before reporting the failure to
the maintainer.

and
===>   tailscale-1.62.1 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/go122 - not found

The entire log is too big to paste here, so I uploaded it to https://pastebin.com/ikHy8xM2. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Tried following this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBjswqONxTc but no joy.

At this point, I cannot use Tailscale.

TheHellSite has been incredibly helpful with both HAProxy and setting up a Postfix SMTP relay for me.
My scenario was a little bit complicated, and although I was able to follow up to a certain point, the complexity of my setup required me to reach out for assistance. Not only was the assistance top-notch, but the pricing was also quite reasonable. I highly recommend reaching out if you need any similar services. Thanks again for the great support!

I'm on v23.7.12 and would love to see the official integration. If I can help with testing, I will.

Turns out that I had to supply a password to encrypt backups in the Google Drive setup section. I had set it up without supplying a password. Opnsense did not issue any warning/error so I assumed that password is optional. It is not optional.
Thank you posting the solution! I ran into the same issue and supplying a password fixed it.

OK, thanks for feedback. Sounds like pkg{,-static} bug to me, I'd say unlinking and trying to refetch the broken package file would be a much saner behaviour than giving up with a cryptic error.
You're welcome, and thank you for your suggestion! There's no way I would be able to fix it alone.

Remove the offending file and try again?

rm -f /var/cache/pkg/os-ddclient-1.18~753e302a6f.pkg

Yes, that's how I resolved my issue! Thank you!
I had two "os-ddclient-1.18" renamed to "os-ddclient-1.18~753e302a6f.pkg2" and the upgrade finally completed.

Thank you for the reply!

Below is the console output. Using GUI is an endless loop. Any other suggestions?

   0) Logout                              7) Ping host
  1) Assign interfaces                   8) Shell
  2) Set interface IP address            9) pfTop
  3) Reset the root password            10) Firewall log
  4) Reset to factory defaults          11) Reload all services
  5) Power off system                   12) Update from console
  6) Reboot system                      13) Restore a backup

Hey all,

Just recently started using OPNsense at home and when I tried to update I got the below error. Does anyone know how to fix it?
