General Discussion / HAProxy config with Homeassistant on VLAN

Hi
New to Opnsense and the forums.
I have followed this tutorial https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=23339.0 to install HAProxy.
I would like to connect to Homeassistant from the web. The server with HA on is on a VLAN. My VLAN's cannot access the internet or my local LAN. What if any should my VLAN firewall rules look like?
I have a public IP and NS hosted with Cloudflare. I have created the necessary CNAMES + other settings as per the tutorial.
For some reason I cannot get it to work
Please could someone shed some light.
