General Discussion / Re: Monit gateway group issue

Bump: any idea?

It's not Proxmox or any other cronjob running at night.

It happens every night at 03:00 - 03:02 and only with the WANLTE gateway (CPE 4G/LTE router).

General Discussion / Monit gateway group issue
November 28, 2023, 10:54:09 AM
Hi

I have 2 gateways up and running with a failover setup.

Gateways:
WAN = cable
WANLTE = LTE as failover

They are both configured in a group, WAN as Tier 1, WANLTE as Tier 2. So far so good.

For some reason WANLTE goes down around 3AM each night for some seconds/minutes. Probably because of my Proxmox doing backups on the network as that is the only reason I can think of. Not a big deal but...

I'm running Monit "gateway_alert" service.
This reports me at +- 3AM that WANLTE is down as it should, but I have to manualy bring WANLTE down and up again to get it running again in the gateways group.

What am I doing wrong here please?
Can't monit "revive" (up > down + down > up) the gateway by itself?

I'm struggling with this...

Do I also still need to port forward that port (8555 for WebRTC) to my internal IP (192.168.1.21)?

Haven't tried that @mimugmail, whats the command? I'll give it a try later this afternoon.

I have restarted from the opn-arp setting tab in the UI, it start's, stops, restarts fine.

Is it possible that this still isn't fixed? the deamon keeps on stopping over here.
