Hi All

I'm looking to manage Dual DC's with HA firewall instances per DC (2 x 2 HA Firewalls), I have business licensing for all 4 firewalls, however I ideally want a off host solution for the central management, so not to use any of the production firewalls, does this mean I need a fifth license for the central management node, is this a supported installation path?

Is there any guides for setting this up? as the OPNSense docs don't cover this, only adding hosts to an existing platform.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Is this still an issue for people?  As i have a working OPNsense HA cluster in AWS, running on 2 EC2 instances across 2 availability Zones.

Whilst is not as streamlined as a local hardware failover, it does move the Elastic IP's over automatically, and take a few mins to complete the failover.

If people are still struggling with this, drop a response in here, as im considering writing a blog post up on how to do this.
