26.7 Series / Re: upgrade from 26.7 to 26.7.2 failed
August 14, 2026, 01:57:32 PM
I'm just using the default mirror. Important thing to note: the opnsense firewall is behind a corporate firewall (configured with environment settings - see https://docs.opnsense.org/development/backend/configd.html).
Looks like this approach is broken on 26.7.2

I could install the missing package updates using an bash shell, setting the environment settings for the session and running the following command:

/usr/local/opnsense/scripts/firmware/launcher.sh update

26.7 Series / upgrade from 26.7 to 26.7.2 failed
August 13, 2026, 02:42:01 PM
Hello,

The upgrade of one of my opnsense firewalls failed while fetching the base image. All other packages went fine. I rebooted before trying again, but I keep getting the same error. Any Ideas?

General Discussion / Re: ddclient plugin issue
January 05, 2023, 09:30:38 PM
Hello,

Just a small message to say that in my case, despite of the weird error messages about accessing the pid file, the ddclient plugin seems to be working (using no-ip as dynamic dns provider).

The only thing that looks impossible is registering both an ipv4 and ipv6 address using the ddclient plugin (resulting in only ipv6 address to be updated)

Configuration:
Type   opnsense-business
Version   22.10
Architecture   amd64
Flavour   OpenSSL
