Any ideas how can I investigate this issue?

That's correct. I have ip-addr assigned by proovider (using dhcp enabled on vlan witn my vlan id and spoofed mac on vlan iface).

I'm able to ping router-lan and router-wan ip addresses from my computer connected to lan interface, I'm able to ping router-wan (IP assigned by isp) from router itself using ping diagnostics tool but I'm not able to ping router-wan gateway and anything behind that gate (eg 8.8.8.8). I tried to ping from my local computer and using diagnostics tool.

Its interesting b/c I can ping wan gate by my old asus router (same onfig, spoofed mac and vlan id set same as on opnsense router).

Virtual private networks / Broken WAN over VPN?

Hi,

I recently purchased DEC675 with business version of opnsense (and updated to the latest 22.4.3).

I set vpn using correct ethernet interface as parent, I set correct vlan id and priority as 0. I set also created vpn interface as WAN, changed mac to one required by ISP and dhcp client works correct (assigned IP is same as on previous router) but internet doesn't work at all (tried to ping using wan interface some IPs and no success).

I tried to disable/enable MTU correction, I also tried to enable ethernet interface used as parent for vpn and set same mac as on vlan, I tried also to use promiscuous on vlan.
