General Discussion / Starlink -- Slow speeds compared to other third party router(s)

Hi All,
Been trying to get Starlink to work with OPNsense for a while now. While it does "work" the network speeds are greatly reduced compared to using the wifi router it came with. The bypass mode also works very well on my synology router. I've followed some of the documentation on this forum and reddit opnsense, but the speed have not increased from the advice, the only thing I was truly able to accomplish was to get the bypass setup so I can connect to the dish at 192.168.100.1. Expected speeds for my Starlink in my area have been anywhere from 100Mbps to 200~Mbps. With OPNsense I get a maximum of 20Mbps. Sometimes it seems hardstuck at 1Mbps or less. IF anyone knows what may slow down the connection in bypass mode with OPNsense I would be happy to hear what you did to fix it! Thank you.
