General Discussion / multiwan sticky connection issue
« on: September 09, 2022, 08:23:35 am »
Hi,
I'm having an issue on multi-wan setup, if setting the gateway group with same weight(both tier 1), the outbound connection initiate from LAN will randomly timeout, unless I turn off the sticky connection option, timeout problem will gone, however it is not ideal for the web site require persistent state. To workaround this problem I have to define two gateway group with different preference and assign them to different client subnet in order to do sort of manual load balancing w/ failover capability. I'd like to seek advise if anyone have experience to resolve this problem.
Please refer to the diagram for the setup illustration.
