Just writing to say that I'm seeing almost the same exact issue as you. For awhile, IPv6 was still able to route to the internet, only IPv4 WAN routing was broken. But now it affects the entire WAN link. Reloading DHCP on the interface helps for about half an hour. This problem just started today for me (May 4th, 2022) with OPNsense 22.1.6.
FYI: There's a reddit thread about this issue, it seems specific to Comcast customers. Apparently adding the modem LAN IP (eg. 192.168.100.1) to the WAN's DHCP lease rejection list is supposed to help.
