General Discussion / Port forwarding - CGNAT, VLAN, POrt forwarding
« on: December 06, 2022, 12:49:55 pm »
Hi,
I have recently changed providers and have been allocated ports for example 2600 - 3500. I have had to create a VLAN and set that as my main WAN interface and i have internet connection etc.
I have attempted to port forward using one of the given ports and when i navigate to my public ip with the port i have chosen it is showing a different port in my logs and has my 10. address as destination VLAN address i assume?
Ive noticed this port changes so when i have setup forwarding rules they become irrelavant because the internal port seems to change. Apologies for short description as im not too clued up on how it works atm and its making me go round in circles.
Can anyone advise if i have setup this incorrectly? I believe my provider uses IPOE.
