I've been traveling a lot, and sometimes run into an issue where the network I have my wireguard client on is the same as one of the subnets in my home network (e.g. 192.168.88.0/16), and I often need to connect to resources on both ends. Rather than turn the vpn on and off constantly, is there a way to add an alternate route for a whole subnet? For example, 192.168.88.10 is the remote server I want to connect to, but I'm also connecting to a local server at 192.168.88.20, can I add a virtual IP or whole virtual subnet so that I can connect to the remote server at 10.0.88.10 without changing the main IP of that server?

Or am I thinking about this all wrong? BTW, I'm generally an opnsense gui user, and not super network savvy

When creating the virtual IP, there's a new option not included in the picture. Is there a correct setting for "Allow service binding"? Does it make a difference?
