Hallo zusammen,
ich habe das komische Phänomen, dass private IP-Adressen über das WAN-Interface rausgehen.
Das Häckchen bei block private IPs ist drin, betrifft aber glaube ich nur eingehende Verbindungen.
Muss ich jetzt wirklich eine Firewallregel erstellen, die dies verbietet oder gibt es hierfür irgendwo eine Einstellmöglichkeit, dass generell keine privaten IP-Adressen über das WAN interface geroutet werden?

Ja genau das hat aber leider nicht funktioniert, da die Absender IP dann die des Tunnelnetzwerkes ist, wodurch der Radius Server nicht den LDAP Server erreichen konnte. Habe jetzt aber eine Outbound NAT Regel erstellt, damit funktioniert es dann.
Zur Authentifizierung bei der WPA2 Enterprise Verschlüsselung auf den UniFi APs hat’s dann leider doch nicht gereicht. Das klappt einfach nicht und ich finde im Internet leider auch kein Tutorial, welche Einstellungen man am besten im Radiusserver wählt.

Ich würde das Thema gerade nochmal aufgreifen, da ich vor einem ähnlichen Problem stehe:
Der LDAP-Server ist via openVPN angebunden. Die Anfragen gehen aber leider nicht über diese openVPN-Verbindung raus. Wie bringe ich dem Freeradius bei, dass dieser bitte über die VPN-Verbindung rausgeht? Routen sehen alle korrekt aus.

Ganz genau PPPoE. Haben derzeit eine Fritzbox vorgeschaltet und dann halt doppelt NAT. Sehr unschön.

leider funktioniert die Anmeldung bei der opnsense für Benutzer die nur Zugriff auf opncentral haben nicht mehr seit der neuen Version. Es kommt ein Umleitungsfehler nach der Anmeldung. Die Anmeldung findet via LDAP statt. Wenn ich den Benutzern dann volle Zugriffsrechte gebe, funktioniert es.

Hello,
I'm using a virtual IPv4 and IPv6 address for my openVPN server. This is because I cannot use my WAN IP for this.
As a workaround to use IPv4 and IPv6 on same openVPN Server I am using a port forward to localhost and set the localhost as interface in openVPN.
IPv4 ist working great if i use UDP or UDP4. IPv6 will not work at all. If I use the virtual IPv6 directly as openVPN interface everything works as expected.
sockstat shows that openvpn is listening. Live traffic show the rdr is working (attached). openVPN logs will not show any ingoing traffic on IPv6.
Any ideas? I'm struggeling since 8 hours with this problem.

Hat nicht unbedingt unrechtQuoteWäre eine Idee. Könnte ich mal ausprobieren. Danke. Ich hatte noch eine andere Idee: In Proxmox eine weitere Bridge erstellen und die IPv4 und IPv6 Adresse dort dann einstellen und entsprechend in OpenVPN auswählen. Aber irgendwie gefällt mir das alles nicht so wirklich. Wieso kann ich den OpenVPN Server nicht einfach an mehrere Interfaces binden…
Wo ist das Problem den VPN Server auf localhost laufen zu lassen und dann auf den passenden Interfaces eine Portweiterleitung mit der VIP|Port als Ziel? Was gefällt dir da nicht? Regeln musst du so oder so anlegen.
Alternativ kannst du auch "ANY" im VPN Server wählen, dann läuft der auf jedem Interface

Nunja ich frage ja hier im Forum, weil ich ein Problem an einer ganz bestimmten Stelle habe. Ich habe vorher mit anderen Herstellern gearbeitet wo sich das Ganze etwas anders verhalten hat.
Ich hatte halt gehofft mir das Portforwarding noch zu sparen auf dem Weg.
Any ist keine Option, da wie gesagt der Port bei mehreren OpenVPN Servern identisch ist.
Danke für den Tipp, ich werde es so mal versuchen.
