Highly suggesting revising then migrating the useful, popular guides onto the Opnsense documentation page.
They're kind of hidden here, and contain lots of useful information. That being said the titles aren't always the best, so it can be hard tl find what you're looking for just browsing the forum catagory. Also there may be slightly outdated or changed information or processes. Hence why I suggested revising and migrating to the wiki.

I want to back up my entire system, Suricata settings, vlans, rules, configirations, plugins, etc. A complete clone.
Then I want to reinstall, but instead use ZFS. Then restore that backup.

Does the data export feature in the web gui backup everything?
It does not state near the option, nor on the docs what it does or doesn't backup. I suggest adding this info.

If not, what other way can I do this so I don't have to manually reconfigure everything?
