General Discussion / VPN and Portforward problem
August 06, 2021, 07:58:59 PM
Hi

I have Opnsense running, i have a portforward for RDP running, it points to my ubuntu machine and all is working fine when i access from outside with my ISP IP. Here is the problem, im also connected to a 3rd part VPN service that also have public IP for RDP. All is working fine, my machines are connected to the VPN and has the VPN public IP but i can only connect to RDP with my ISP IP not the VPN IP. Can anyone tell me what i need to do so get that part to work ? Im sure i missed something, im kind of new into opnsense also :)

Do you have assigned OPT1 to an external connection (WAN) or do you want to set up an internal VPN connection?

I have set up with external connection (https://www.ovpn.com/)

I got it running, i have set up a rule so the vpn working when im in the ip range 192.168.1.50-192.168.1.99
with an aliases, but if im outside that ip range i cant connext to internet, i tested with a new alias and rule but no luck.

I share some screens with settings
