General Discussion / Wan failback seems not working
« on: May 20, 2021, 11:03:27 am »
Good morning everyone, thank you in advance for your help.
I'm trying to set up correctly multiwan on opnsense. Here the situation:
GATEWAY1:
Priority: 1
Weight: 1
Packet Loss thresholds: 30 to 40
Time Period: 300
GATEWAY2:
Priority: 2
Weight: 2
Packet Loss thresholds: 10 to 20
Time Period: 300
GATEWAY GROUP:
Gateway1: Tier1
Gateway2: Tier2
Trigger Level: Packet Loss
FIREWALL-SETTINGS-ADVANCED:
Multi-WAN
- Sticky connections: disabled
- Shared forwarding: enabled
- Disable force gateway: disabled
Basically the failover works great and as soon as there is packet loss in the gateway1 .. the connection is switched to the gateway2. The problem is that after gateway1 is back to normal ... the failback is not working. Even after 1 day, opnsense is still using the gateway2 insted of going back to gateway1.
Is there anything I'm missing?
Thank you so much for your help.
