При использовании Skype через OPNsense впрочем как и через Pfsense не проходит звук и видео. Логинится нормально и чат работает.
Полноценно Skype работает только при подключении ISP к ПК напрямую, к системному блоку.
Сначала звонил через web.skype через браузер, теперь отрезали и эту возможность.
На web версию больше не логинится.
У меня как и у многих обычный полицайский интернет от одного из крупнейших провайдеров РФ.
IP адрес получаемый на WAN кардинально отличается от публичного.
Мне тут подсказали что скорее всего это CGNAT от провайдера.
Думаю я не один с этим столкнулся. Напишите что можно сделать если кто шарит.

also I am a bit confused by this option "Dynamic gateway policy" This interface does not require an intermediate system to act as a gateway. But looks like it doesn't help much.

could you explain how to use Skype behind OPNsense firewall.
I can log in successfully, chat working but can't make video and voice calls.
I tried to fix by activating NAT reflection but it didn't help.
When I remove firewall and connect to ISP directly no such problem occurs.

could anyone explain the goal of setting WAN connection on a bridge.

As I can remember it was impossible to connect to ISP without a bridge on WAN port on PFsense.

Does it make any sense of using a bridge together with VLAN on WAN port?

I learned from Docs that QUICK rules are preferable.

What if I have automatically created set of rules (not defined as quick) glued to the top of the list and I can't put anything else before these rules ?

Should I create "SLOW" rule on the bottom of the list to override all existing rules?

This could be my 2nd question on this forum.
