I created a screenshot from my menu and attached it. In my case I can't find the buttons and I dn't know why it happens. I need this options to request new IPv6  adress. IPv4 is static.

maybe I am confused but I remember that we had in the past a button to renew/release an IP on the WAN interface, pulled by an DHCP client. I can't find it anymore. Is there a way to pull a fresh DHCP address for this interface in opnsense without rebooting the complete appliance?

A hint would be very useful for me. I am fighting with my changing IPv6 delegations.

Seit dem 18.3. Bekomme ich bei der DG keine IPv6 mehr zugewiesen.
Es sind mehrere Anschlüsse  im Ort betroffen.
Teste doch einmal, ob Dein Router oder ein Laptop direkt am ONT überhaupt eine IPv6 bekommt.

I am new on opnsense firewall an would like to say thank you very much for this amazing piece of software.
I am trying to implement this in my home-office equipment. In the past I had very bad experiences with the stability of UniFi Software, so it is a good point for me so watch the usereports in this forum.

Normally I wait a month before I upgrade my "productive" environment having a backup and a snapshot of my
virtual machine ready for a fallback. But I understand the thoughts with which version someone should start. Sometimes a version more bulletproof than others.

Was sind das für Interfaces? Intel? Weiss das jemand, ich konnte nichts finden, auf der Seite.

LAN Onboard    4x 1 Gbit/s LAN (RJ-45)
LAN Chipsatz    Intel i210AT
(Prozessor    Intel Celeron J3160 (4 Cores, 1.6GHz))

Käme dieses System damit auch in Frage?

I am not sure if this a local issue or not. In the past I could update the GEOIP database.
Not it doesnt work anymore. I reentered the string which worked before and I get an errror.

Hi,
I found this error whentrying to change a  setting in tunables for the setting "net.link.bridge.pfil_bridge" . After ticking the edit icon, a different setting screen pops up, but not the expected one. I added the screenshoots.
I think this happens for some more entries regarding "bridge" parameters.

Maybe somebody may have a look after this issue.

die Regeln habe ich angelegt, um die Firewall auf Durchzug zu schalten.

Im zwischen habe ich aber dazugelernt. Es fehlte auf der FritzBox eine statische Route, damit der
Internetverkehr den Weg zurück findet. Nachdem ich diese Route angelegt habe, klappt es nun auch mit dem Surfen.

Ich dachte als "exposed host" bräcuhte ich dies nicht zu tun.

Ein Blick in das Firewall Live Log zeigt hingegen, daß ich von meinem Endgerät (ein Tablett) aus versuche eine Webseite zu öffnen. Leider wird überhaupt keine Webseite angezeigt.

Das müsste doch eigentlich bedeuten, daß der Netwerkverkehr prinzipiell da ist, nviht wahr ?

Zur Ergänzung hänge ich noch die Firewall Regeln für das WAN und das VLAN  Interface an.
Zum Testen wollte ich die Firewall auf Durchzug schalten, um ein Routing in das Internet hinzubekommen.

als OPNsense Neuling überlege ich in meinen Heimnetz die UniFi Infrastruktur aus Router, Switches und Accesspoints durch eine OPNsense 21.1 Firewall als IPD/IDS System zu ergänzen.
Leider bekomme ich es nicht hin, in der OPNsense vom meinem LAN2 Interface durch das WAN interface ins Internet zu routen. Ich hoffe, dass Ihr mir helfen könnt.

Das Tracert zu "heise.de" auf dem WAN Interface funktioniert.
Das Tracert zu "heise.de" auf dem LAN2 Interface liefert kein Ergebis... Ziel wird nicht erreicht.

An der FritzBox geht LAN1 an den Übergabepunkt der "Deutschen Glasfaser".
