21.1 Legacy Series / Howto Request / Renew IP of WAN Interface DHCP Client

Hello,
maybe I am confused but I remember that we had in the past a button to renew/release an IP on the WAN interface, pulled by an DHCP client. I can’t find it anymore. Is there a way to pull a fresh DHCP address for this interface in opnsense without rebooting the complete appliance?

A hint would be very useful for me. I am fighting with my changing IPv6 delegations.

21.1 Legacy Series / opnsense 21.1.1 - failed update GEOIP list

Hi,
I am not sure if this a local issue or not. In the past I could update the GEOIP database.
Not it doesnt work anymore. I reentered the string which worked before and I get an errror.

I have an licese key and I used it.

Now I got the error , shown in the screenshot. Can anyone double check if it works generally ?

21.1 Legacy Series / opnsense 21.1.1 - Failed to set some tunables - for bridge tunbles

Hi,
I found this error whentrying to change a setting in tunables for the setting "net.link.bridge.pfil_bridge" . After ticking the edit icon, a different setting screen pops up, but not the expected one. I added the screenshoots.
I think this happens for some more entries regarding "bridge" parameters.

Maybe somebody may have a look after this issue.

German - Deutsch / [gelöst] OPNsense 21, kein Routing in das Internet, LAN(VLAN21) nach WAN

Guten Abend,

als OPNsense Neuling überlege ich in meinen Heimnetz die UniFi Infrastruktur aus Router, Switches und Accesspoints durch eine OPNsense 21.1 Firewall als IPD/IDS System zu ergänzen.
Leider bekomme ich es nicht hin, in der OPNsense vom meinem LAN2 Interface durch das WAN interface ins Internet zu routen. Ich hoffe, dass Ihr mir helfen könnt.

Das Tracert zu "heise.de" auf dem WAN Interface funktioniert.
Das Tracert zu "heise.de" auf dem LAN2 Interface liefert kein Ergebis… Ziel wird nicht erreicht.

Meine Infrastruktur am Anschluss der "Deutschen Glasfaser"

+FritzBox
+OPNSense 21.1 Appliance (Hardware)
+UniFi managed Switch
+UniFi Accesspoints

An der FritzBox hängt an einem Switchport (LAN2) meine produktive LAN Verkabelung mit Unifi Gateway....
An der FritzBox hängt an einem Switchport (LAN3) meine OPNSense zum Testen als parallele Installation.
An der FritzBox geht LAN1 an den Übergabepunkt der "Deutschen Glasfaser".
