i notice a lot of latency with RSS enabled, especially when a website makes many XHR requests. Loading takes a long time compared to default setup no RSS.

intel quad core, no HT
x710t2l 8.00 firmware

is porting VPP to freebsd something that is in the pipelines?

Has anyone noticed significant (a full magnitude or greater slow down) on the average recursion time in unbound after enabling this option?

I tried with the latest stable build 21.7.5.

it does seem more sluggish, recursion time has gone up. could also be other factors. i'm running 21.7.6

its very nice to see x710-t series drivers finally merged, noticed a big improvement in latency vs manually compiling the driver every time there is an update. awesome work!!

I recently acquired the x710-T2l. the nic DOES NOT work out of the box in FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p12-HBSD. I had to compile the driver and load using loader.conf.local. Its working well in 1gbps, 2.5gbps and 10gbps with the latest intel driver.
