Would you mind posting a PR for your config? I would love to post...... or just post here and I will update.

I just used a standard 2u 19 inch rack mount case (since I have a 19 inch telco rack in my upstairs spare bedroom in a formerly walk in closet. 2u lets me use a normal PC power supply and fans. its WAY too big, since the poor little firewall only takes up about 1/4 of the case (its like MINI MINI itx.)

I found a very nice HOWTO (for the opposing firewall, name shall not be mentioned). Which details how to get the ipv6 working on multiple interfaces. I did find this article here:

https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=17720.0

Alas, it doesn't really detail how to get everything working. I had it working great on the 'other' firewall (it rhymes with rents, and has a gate in a certain name), however I really prefer opnsense.

I have created a GitHub page, which references the 'original' document which solved this issue. I am linking here so you don't have to manually figure everything out.

My biggest problem was with the time keeping (ntp seemed to really be unhappy). No NTP problems on current setup. I think this was the major reason I switched to XXsense.

I did purchase one of the amd 3101 EPYC processors with the supermicro mini itx motherboard. GREAT firewall. As of this summer (last time I tried to upgrade) the opnsense seemed very flaky at best. It 'mostly' worked, but then had tons of problems. I ended up going with pfsense (as much as I I lOVE opensense) due to the stability issues. PFsense seems very stable for weeks/months now.
