Ok issue has been resolved. The ISP was not blocking the MAC however they did have a 30minute DHCP lease timeout so because I didn't wait over 30 minutes (depending on when the last handshake was) I would not be able to get traffic

Aussie Broadband using FTTP. No they support MYOD. I am wondering if maybe because I have connected with my old router which is a Netgear whether they are now restricting the MAC. Is a very strange issue

Hey Guys
Having some trouble with my new OPNsense build.

I have configured it currently in a VM and have the WAN port connected to the LAN of my current router. In this setting it works as expected and I can get internet traffic on all devices connected.

When I remove the current router and connect my OPNsense directly to my ISP the internet traffic stops. I can see I get the new WAN address. Tried rebooting without any luck.

Any ideas?
