Well, this is really bad.

• Lost both my activations (HA Pair)
• Reactivate license does not restore all the settings, only partially
• Restoring a recent backup (april 14th), breaks the exclusions tab (/usr/local/opnsense/mvc/app/controllers/OPNsense/Sensei/Api/PolicyController.php:1245: Call to a member function execute() on bool
• Restoring a recent backup (april 14th), removes the new 2 options : Block bad IP, Block Non-Exisiting Domain

Besides this, if such a mistake is made why post only on a forum, would be nice to send a mail to the subscription holders (we do get the invoices by mail), as the security is downgraded. You will see it's downgraded  if you click the Zenarmor tile. But updating via OPNSense, firmware update it doesn't show. Would also be nice if the subscription status would be accessibele via the API (if so, please do share some source code)

No only updated to the most recent published version 23.1.5-4 (Firmware, Status), No OPNSense shell patching.

I downgraded back to 22.10.2 (Business) for now

Hi,

Looks like the Openvpn widget is still partially broken, Tunnel is up, can ping the 'other side', only thing that isn't working is the little red or green arrows on the right, they should be green, they keep staying red

Known issue?

Hi there,

I am having freshly installed OPNsense as VM. I am having issues to find out how to install qemu-guest tools on OPNsense.

Can someone help me how to install it?

Any experiences if qemu makes OPNsense ?
- more stable
- less stable
- no change on stability

- no change on stability on my side (10+ Proxmox hosted all with qemu)
- Installation is : System, Firmware, Plugins, should be listed, click the +. Enable QEMU in the proxmox VM settings

• If virtualizing OPNSense, you can also make snapshots, for easy rollbacks
• Use a HA setup if budget allows it

To be honest I have 15 OPNsense VM's in production (6 /6 in HA, 3 single)with zero update issues in 2 years.

Did you enable the interfaces also? Assigning is not enough I believe. So assign, enable in interfaces, save (you don't have to set anything)

Since the 21.1.8 release i have trouble connecting to the apple appstore. I have to try multiple times to open it because it wont connect.

I have this on my iphone and apple tv.

There is an any any rule and dont see it blocked in the logging, i have DoH enabled to cloudflare dns on port 853.

Yeah same issue here, thought it was my pihole blocking (changed to another DNS server) at first, it isn't. No logic in it, sometimes it loads, sometimes it isn't working at all

Upgrading from 21.1.8 to 21.1.9 gives this console error (system is up and running)

[HBSD SEGVGUARD] [syslog-ng (10917)] Suspending execution for 600 seconds after 5 crashes
[HBSD SEGVGUARD] [syslog-ng (82387)] preventing execution due to repeated segfaults

Got this on 3 different installations, is this a known issue?

Any timeframe on a release for this function (or has it been released)? If not we've got to move to another solution unfortunately, can't explain the monthly cost anymore ;-)

Nevermind, helemaal onderin de openvpn serverconfig kan je dit aanpassen
