General Discussion / Port Opening with IPv6
« on: October 31, 2019, 04:17:49 pm »
Hi everyone. I'm currently trying to open a port for a specific host in my network using IPv6 only. Simple enough, but I can't get it to work.
On my WAN Interface I've got a rule with the following attributes:
Action: Pass
Interface: WAN
Direction: In
TCP/IP Version IPv6
Protocol: TCP/UDP
Source: Any
Destination: Single Host or Network: <2***myIPv6***::1380>/128
Destination Port Range: 25565 - 25565
Are there any obvious mistakes I did in there? Are there any other rules I have to add so that traffic may pass to that IP on Port 25565? When checking the port from outside my network I get filtered as a result.
When checking inside my network the port is up so it can't be that..
EDIT: Looks like i accidentally sent my post before being finished with writing. Sorry about that
