hi guys, today I faced a really strange problem, my android Phone suddenly lost connection I couldn't ping my LAN but I could ping other devices on my LAN after an hour of digging around I found that 2 different devices are having the same mac address on ARP table (my laptop and my phone) the reported MAC address was actually my Laptop's Mac so ARP table reported the wrong MAC address for my Phone. but when I checked The DHCP Lease of my Phone the MAC address was reported correctly. so Does anyone has any idea about what can cause such a problem?

Tutorials and FAQs / Re: Ntop

I have the same problem, It would be nice if we can do that because when I want to get the data usage for a device on my network it only shows a time sires (5m, 30m, 1hr, 1 day, 1 week, a month, a year) graph which is not a convenient way to do that as in 1 day graph for example it won't show the usage from the start of the day as it works as 24hrs from your current hour so some of the previous day usages will be included .

I think NTOP on pfsense can do that but I am not 100% sure.

I use ntopng and i love it as it shows total bandwidth used, currently active downloader, along with some other great features.

But it do not save the data for previous / old records. I have enabled the cache and changed the time to different time / days. But only thing it shows is active devices. If a device goes offline or firewall reboot then all the data is gone, deleted / removed by software.

I need to provide the daily report of total bandwidth used by the devices in network. I used bandwidthd before in PFSense and i know it will solve this issue.

Still if you know any way around in ntogng to save data and to get past records for report on daily basis then i am good to go with ntopng.

i have the same issue

I want to track how much data has been consumed per each host hourly/daily/monthly so I installed bandwidthd package following these steps (https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=6947.msg45617#msg45617) but when I try to access the web GUI it shows that page does not exist any help, please??!
