19.7 Legacy Series / Issue with TCP sessions timing out every 15 minutes - promiscuous mode
« on: July 25, 2019, 10:02:52 am »
Hi all,
I seem to have an issue since the last release, every 15 minutes TCP sessions are timing out and need to be re-established.
This issue happens from LAN -> WAN and also from LAN to the OPNsense LAN interface (tested it with a SSH session, HTTPS is also affected but it's not that noticable).
Hitting ENTER in the SSH session until it times out & looking at the logs it seems that this is causing the issue:
Jul 25 09:46:06 kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Jul 25 09:46:06 kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode disabled
Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?
Thanks
Don
