Do not take time on that .. I have an xmlrpc sync configured on my opnsense, my second hardware was shutdown for some check since 1 month .. when I apply a modification, the xmlrpcsync was timeout after a while I think, and finally apply ..

(XMLrpc was disabled !) I had to untick all the services on the xmlrpc sync to get rid of the slow applying ... !

Not sure if it's a bug, but you have to disable all the sync (for each service) when you do not use the sync
(I know that i don't have the last update :) )

Have a good week end !

Hello !

I work in IT for a compagny who use opnsense. It works very well since 2 years for 100 users and some connected to VPN. No big problems.

But since 2 month (don't really know when it appear) the applying for parameters is reeeally slow.. I have to wait 5 minutes to save the add of a firewall rules (when I modify dhcp, the same), and after, 5 min more to validate my changes.. :(

When I have several rules to modify/add it can be really long !

I don't have the latest update (I'm in 19.1.4-amd64 // FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-p9-HBSD // OpenSSL 1.0.2r 26 Feb 2019) but I think the problem appeared before an update.

My hardware is : an Lenovo System x3550 M5 = Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz and 8 gigs for RAM

I don't know where to start my investigations, nothing in system.log. Can someone indicate me the way to search the answer ?

Thank you and, have a good weekend !
