Hi gentlemen,

I have the same situation as well on OpenVPN, and luckily, except OpenVPN, it seems i can get the (look-like-) correct data against other interfaces of which all are virtualized.

Hi thereaper,

i'm newbie to Netflow, and also felt so confused about the definitions of ingress and egress in this field. After struggling to figure them out on google, i realized that same terms in different fields may have different meanings. Here is my understanding about ingress and egress in regard to Netflow for your reference, and please correct me if there is anything wrong.

Ingress: the packets which are (1) initiated by the firewall itself, or (2) destined to the firewall itself
Egress: the traffic coming from one interface of the firewall and going out via another interface

Hope my post helps.

Best Regard.
