Hello guys,

I use diffrent subnets for cable and wifi (192.168.1.X / 192.168.2.X). I can connect to servers from one subnet to another. But when it comes to the Chromecast it never founds it from the other subnet.

I have seen people talking about Avahi, but it is nothing that i can find to install.

Any ideas for me?

Thanks in advance,
Mikael

Update 7/5: I'm still struggling with this, so tips and/or hints in an direction would be appreciated :)

Thanks mimugmail!  :)

After those tips 2 things works better:
- Office computers do not switch between IP
- Second IP does not take you to the OpnSene login page

But the second IP doesn't load anything now instead.
(I have been trying some different adjustments without success)

Attaching some images over current settings.

Hello,

Have spent more then a couple of hours with this without being really wise about this. Have read a few different pages and tried som adjustments but without understanding this problem.

My company's ISP has provided us with 16 IP-addresses. So I am now trying to redirect 1 additional IP to a web server, in addition to the IP address we use for the office computers.

My steps:
1) I have created an secondary IP address as a Virtual IP.
2) Then created a 1-to-1 NAT (secondary IP => web server).
3) Added a rule to the firewall (pass thru traffic to the web server).

The problem: The secondary IP only leads directly to the OpnSene login page no matter what I'm trying to adjust and then also, the office computers external IP change between the first and second IP addresses.

Could it be that our ISP only support 1 IP per NIC (or how you call it), or have I misunderstood something?
(We have 16 public/external IP addresses and 1 GW ip address.)

Kind regards,
Mikael

April 30, 2018, 09:03:38 AM
Hello every one,

I was wondering if it's possible to redirect all
top domains of a certain type, to an specific IP?
(Have been searching a bit without founding
something helpful)

whatever.redirect => 192.168.0.10
something.redirect => 192.168.0.10
..and so on

Thanks in advance :)
