It is a dual CPU (low end Intel Xeon) system. However, I had a look at the LAN controller and it seems there is a lack of support in XenServer for my network controller which may cause the issue. I will investigate this further as it seems it is not directly related to OPNsense. I'll report back once I have further news.

I'm trying to get this working but no luck at all. :(
1) XenServer 7.2 (using template: "Other install media")
2) DVD drive, install media: OPNsense-17.7.5-OpenSSL-dvd-amd64.iso
3) 2x vCPUs (2 sockets, 1 core per socket)
4) 2048MB of RAM
5) 10GB virtual disc size
6) one LAN interface
Virt Mode: HVM
BIOS string not copied
System installation does not start/boot, console screen stays empty.
Error message after 10min: "This operation cannot be performed because the specified virtual disk could not be found"
Any idea what the issue could be?
