Hardware and Performance / small (mobile) wireless router solution

Hi all,
I opened a new topic as I was not successul in finding an answer to my question.
I am looking for a small router capable of running OPNSense that I can use in a Hotel room.
When I am in a Hotel and want to use the local WiFi network.
I want a mobile router with its own WiFi network that I can connect to the local wifi network. The router then makes a connection via OpenVPN client on Wan port to my private Openvpn server and redirect the traffic.
My private clients are then safe throught my private connection, I dont have to setup openvpn connections per device/client and I can work around geo blocking.
Is this possible with Opnsense?

Its capable of doing what I want but openvpn throughput is limited to max around 10 mbit (based on forum posts)
I would like a little bit more, around 20 mbit throughput.
