i seem to have same problem with mailtrail since a while back, how do you limit to 500mMb?
It's a setting for the senor, but it made no difference so I removed Maltrail completely so I cannot show you.
I've started getting this the past few days, on 21.7.1, nothing much has changed yet suddenly I'm getting alerted to excessive memory usage.
I've now limited it to 500Mb to see how it goes, but for me it's not the server itself but the sensor and annoyingly that does not get restarted when restarting the server. You have to go into the sensor settings and either make a change e.g. memory and click save, or disable/enable it and again click save.
root@OPNsense:/usr/local/AdGuardHome # ./AdGuardHome -s status
2021/07/28 08:59:59 [info] Service control action: status
2021/07/28 08:59:59 [fatal] failed to get service status: the service is not installed
Dont do this! I wrote a startup script cause this AdGuardHome -s XXX is a total mess. And thats why AGH is a community plugin and not in the official plugin repo. This -go stuff with their own service control sucks on BSD.
You can use this:
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/adguardhome
But if you already ran "-s install" your are lost somewhere in the middle
/usr/local/AdGuardHome # ./AdGuardHome -s uninstall / delete possibly?
Maybe then also remove the plugin and also /usr/local/AdGuard/Home folder.
Then install plugin again, enable and reboot. During reboot watch the console for errors
the jumper is so that it reboots after powerloss, that have nothing to do with installing
i havent done anything with "thermal paste and heatsink", works fine anyway
Thanks! I've had a look on YouTube how to do that, and that seems to have helped me with that bit
I might get a USB Noctua fan, to put on the outside to help cool it down too
