OPNsense mascot

Hi all,

I created an OPNsense community mascot for the docu wiki. I would like to hear yor say about it.

I like it. WOuld love to see a different version. Something with a full body like the Android Bot DROID guy thingy who-zee what-sit. lol THis would be great on t-shirts and desktop bobble-heads and stickers.

I am a novice in graphic arts. But can you do it? Or you maybe know somebody who can and would do?

Me do it? LOL I can literally see mountains toppling and airplanes falling from the sky...lol I have absolutely no skill in those areas. This would be an excellent project for crowdsourcing! Plenty of young up n comers would love to attach their name to a project like OPNsense and gain some credibility.

What a pitty, thank you for liking it

The mascot is ment just as a starter; I tried to give it an organge & friendly attitude , because I have experienced many friendly people in the OPNsense project so far!

Eventually OPNsense might also go well without any mascot, we will see. On the other hand it may make OPNsense more broadband appealing or little bit more spicy / interesting for different people, while not offending anyone (hopefully).

I like the emoticon approach, although for a name something catchy needs to be used. I have "spot" or "spotty" in my mind, but not sure why.

I personally don't see the point of a mascot. It adds nothing to what the project is about.
