Syslog - Elastic Beats

Hello all,

I have deployed Elastic Beats to my OPNsense device but I have a question regarding the syslog parameters in OPNsense. Do I need to configure the syslog to route it to a remote server or should I leave those alone since I have configured Filebeat to do this? I am not seeing any syslog hitting my ELK setup at all.
