[SOLVED] error after update
« on: October 21, 2018, 08:09:16 pm »
Hello,
After i'm update opnsense and after i'm select menu System: Firmware. I see the following error:

An API exception occured
Error at /usr/local/opnsense/mvc/app/controllers/OPNsense/Core/Api/FirmwareController.php:661 - file_get_contents(/usr/local/opnsense/version/opnsense.name): failed to open stream: No such file or directory (errno=2)

# opnsense-version -v
18.7.5_1

Does anyone have any idea how can i fix this.

I can say with 100% certainty that this line does not exist on 18.7.5 although it did with 18.7.4 previously, so it's one of two things:

1. You're using the os-cache plugin. You can resolve this with a reboot probably.

2. The hard disk is damaged. Reinstall the core package:

# opnsense-revert opnsense

That would indicate os-cache plugin usage?

Hello,
I have not seen that you wrote.
I think I have been using the os-cache but I have removed it.
