Routed LXC-Container possibly not finding its path to www
« on: June 18, 2018, 03:14:39 pm »
Hi,

I have a LXC-Host (192.168.3.5) with a routed LXC-Guest (192.168.4.5)

To reach the guest, i inserted a Gateway (192.168.3.5 for 192.168.4.0/24) and a appropriate rule.

I can access the guest, but the guest can just reach internal Networks (e.g. traceroute www.google.com stops at the Default Gateway from the host).

I think there is an outgoing Firewall rule missing. As the Default Gateway is on the host, i can't just create a new Network, so i get it inserted in the outgoing nat rules. Is there a possibility to insert the outgoing rule for the Network 192.168.4.0/24, which is just known on Gateway and router?

Thx!
Roger
