Transparent squid 3.5 in Opnsense

I installed Opnsense in virtualbox but I can't find transparent squid in Opnsense 15.7. Is it possible to configure transparent proxy? $:-\$

No, not yet. The transparent proxy is missing its hooks into pf or IPFW. It's something to be delivered on our way to 16.1, but we don't have an ETA.

Squid 2.x can transparent in FreeBSD. Why don't you develop squid with that version?

3.5 can do it too in FreeBSD. We simply haven't had enough dev hours to do the work required yet.
