Hello,
I need assistance to configure Opnsence with my new ISP. I used  Opnsence with previous ISP, but connection based on PPPoE.

ISP providing VLAN ID static IP (IPv4) and gateway.

At the moment connection working fine with Edgerouter.
With Edgerouter create a VLAN using physical interface and then configure  static IP connection up and running.

But with with  Opnsence (18.7) I can create VLAN from interfaces >> other, but I could not assign IP address. I assign IP address to the physical interface, but connection failing.

So far this is the only guide I found https://wiki.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/orange_fr_fttp.html?highlight=vlan
But created for old Opnsence version.

Hope someone could send me to right direction.

That guide was created only a few weeks ago, so it's still current but it uses dhcp. It should work in a similar way creating the VLAN but instead of all the dhcp stuff just set the interfaces to static and enter the fixed IP addresse(s).

That's what I did. I did few times, always show default gateway down.
I check connectivity (ping) to default gateway from router it self, but failed.

What else I could try?

Problem resolved after fresh install.
