Traffic Graph oddity

Affecting 17.7.*, then 18.1_1 after the upgrade.

My Traffic Graph widget and the Traffic Graph, under reporting, have the same odd thing wherein they both show inbound traffic but never outbound traffic.    How odd?

I do remember 17.7.{early versions} showing the outbound traffic and then it just stopped showing it.   I never said anything because I figured the 18.1 upgrade would likely take care of it -- but nah, didn't.

For me, this isn't a deal breaker, just a little bump in the road.    I'm all up for sharing my config xml or whatever.    I thought about saving my config and doing a clean install, then restore my config ... which probably would just end up right where it is anyway.
Any thoughts on this matter?    Thanks in advance.

Same here.

Nothing new, I hopped for a change too, giving FreeBSD upgrade 11.0 -> 11.1 and also update of multiple driver packs.

Just updated to 18.1.1 and the oddity still persists.    I'm sure it will get fixed over time ..

Did you start using intrusion detection in IPS mode some time into 17.7.x?

The traffic data from the kernel is always the same, but the above makes a differences and matches what you describe.

franco:      My outbound graph was not showing activity way before I enabled ID/IPS.     The outbound graph stopped showing activity more than six months ago.      I started using ID/IPS probably around a month ago.

UPDATE:      I stopped my ID/IPS and the graph now shows traffic.      Once ID/IPS were restarted the graph resumes not showing traffic.       (only on the outbound graph, inbound graph is ok)
